Lavaca County's first winery
Hallettsville, Texas
Texans value authenticity. Above all, we want our wine
to be honest, truly reflecting the character and terroir
of the state's Blackland Prairie region.
We're in Texas, trying to make a Texas wine.   This
place, this soil can produce a wine with a style all its
own.
Darcy's Vineyard was started on that simple premise.
It's an intimate winery that -- although small in size and
output -- produces unabashedly unique wines on site
that celebrate the character of our local fruit: Bold,
yet friendly.  Confident, yet easy-going.  Just like
Texas.

In 2013 we were voted Best Winery by the Gonzales
Inquirer.  We won silver and bronze medals for our
Ginger Peach Chardonnay and our Table
White(semisweet Blanc Du Bois) wine in the Finger
Lakes International Wine Competition, and two silver
medals for our Loquat Blush and Mango Habanero
wines at the Texas International Wine Competition.
